London launch of poetry book written in HMP Belmarsh and HMP Long Lartin prison, and poems from Damascus, Syria described by A. L. Kennedy as "Great poems. Strong beautiful stuff...". The event will also feature reading from Kafka, Malcolm X, Ralph Ellison and other reflect on the act of reading and writing in prison under indefinite detention.

featuring Gareth Pierce (human-rights lawyer, defender of Guildford Four) Bruce Kent (CND Veteran), performance poet Avaes Muhammad and members of Talha Ahsan family.

The event will mark 5 years that Talha Ahsan has been held under the unjust US-UK extradition - marking over 1,875 days without trail, nor charge under British law nor prima facie evidence.
