James Kao

I was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to the U.S.A. when I was ten years old. I studied at University of California at Berkeley for my BA and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London for my MA. I am currently in an arts residency called The Florence Trust in London. In my work, I am interested in the concept of "character" and how it refers to personalities as well as symbols for language.
